CPD Year
The CPD year runs from 1st March to 28th February each year.
Professional Standards
Each NZIBI member must complete 45 CPD credits annually
Maintain a high level of professional integrity
Provide accurate and unbiased inspection reports
Keep all client information confidential
Continuously improve knowledge and skills through CPD
Act according to all relevant laws and regulations
ow to Earn Credits
AGM Attendance: 2 credits per hour
Conference/Seminar: 2 credits per hour
Training Course: 1 credit per hour
Workshop: 1 credit per hour
Online Webinar: 1 credit per hour
Professional Reading: 1 credit per 3 hours
Building Inspection: 0.5 credits per inspection
Mentoring: 1 credit per hour
Teaching/Presenting: 2 credits per hour
Committee Work: 1 credit per hour
